Description
Agreement to allow private sector media and information service providers to access and broadcast public sector transportation agency CCTV camera video feeds, real–time traffic speed and volume data, and incident data. Agreements should specify the control priority to allow traffic agencies first priority to control cameras during incidents or other events. The ability of the traffic agency to deny access to video and data feeds if a situation warrants such action should also be part of the agreement.
Agreement developed by TDOT for live CCTV video access and information sharing for private entity users.
