Mr. Welch provided an update on the search for a new TPO Director. GovHr has sent a list of candidates to the agency and interviews should begin soon.
Mr. Welch introduced Emily Jackson, AmeriCorps, who will be working with the TPO for the next several months on many projects, including Smart Trips.
Mayor Frank presented Mr. Welch with a proclaimation highlighting his many accomplishments over the course of his nearly four decade career and thanking him for his 38 years of dedicated service to the Knoxville Regional TPO. Mr. Welch will retire at the end of August.
The next meeting of the TPO Executive Board will be held September 27, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. in the Small Assembly Room of the City County Building.
The next meeting of the TPO Technical Committee will be held September 12, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. in the Small Assembly Room of the City County Building.
