TPO Travel Demand Model Update Scoping Overview

The current Knoxville Regional Travel Model (KRTM) was originally developed around 2010. It has been refreshed with minor updates since then, but is reaching the end of its service life. A new model will need to be developed in the next couple of years that incorporates important changes in travel behavior and patterns in recent years. A summary of the workshop and survey that was conducted earlier this month to begin exploration of possible model enhancements will be provided to the Executive Board.
