TDOT Long Range Transportation Plan Presentation

TDOT is responsible for developing a long-range statewide transportation plan. The last plan was fully completed in 2016 with a minor update in 2021. A lot has occurred throughout the State of Tennessee and nationally regarding the transportation system since the last long-range plan was developed. TDOT has hired a consultant to update the long-range plan, which will occur in two phases. First, the current planu2019s Policy Papers will be updated by the end of this year and then a more extensive planning process will occur in 2026 with the development of a new plan. There will be a presentation about the kick-off to the new statewide long-range plan and the future planning efforts.
