Federal Surface Transportation Funding Reauthorization Update

The current federal transportation funding bill known as the Infrastructure Investment & Jobs Act (IIJA) will expire next year on 9/30/2026. There are efforts already underway by committees in the US House of Representatives to begin drafting base language for the next transportation bill. TPO staff will provide a brief overview of potential issues in the reauthorization process.
