FY 2023-2026 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Project Cost Overrun

The City of Maryville is requesting approval for a cost overrun for their Carpenters Grade Road widening and intersection improvement project. The overrun exceeds the limits established in the TIP programming policies established with the FY 23-26 TIP. Technical Committee approval is required for cost overruns in excess of 25% of the total project costs, or increasing TPO federal funds in excess of $500,000. The requested increase in L-SBTG funds is $3,660,000 ($2,928,000 federal\/$732,000 local) and represents 57.8% of the initial total project cost. The current TIP page is included as an attachment.
