Agenda Item #4 FY 2023-2026 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Amendments
TDOT requested an amendment for the I-75 at Emory Road (SR-131) Interchange project. The proposed amendment increases the construction phase and total project cost. The project schedule is also revised to move construction from FY 2024 to FY 2025. The construction phase is increased from $10,100,000 to $33,325,000 NHPP ($26,660,000 federal/$6,665,000 state) and the total project cost is increased to $35,725,000.
The City of Knoxville requested an amendment to add the Urban Wilderness Gateway Park project to the TIP. The proposed amendment adds the project for PE-N in FY 2025 and PE-D in FY 2026. PE-N is estimated at $300,000 (100% federal Reconnecting Communities [RCN]). PE-D is estimated at $2,000,000 (100% federal Reconnecting Communities [RCN]). This amendment adds $2,300,000 ($2,300,000 federal RCN/$0 local) to the TIP. The total project cost is $25,000,000.
