FY 2023 – 2026 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Project Cost Overrun

There is one (1) cost overrun request for a locally sponsored project. The overrun exceeds the limits established in the TIP programming policies adopted with the FY 23-26 TIP.  Technical Committee approval is required for cost overruns in excess of 25% of the total project costs or increasing TPO federal funds in excess of $500,000.

  • Knoxville Middlebrook Pike (SR-169) ATMS Expansion: Overrun request (CMAQ PM 2.5 funds) is $640,278 ($640,278 federal), representing 21.9% of the total project cost.
