Section 5310 Program of Projects

Knoxville-Knox County CAC is the designated recipient of the FTA Section 5310 funds. Section 5310 funds can be used for both operating and capital projects that support seniors and persons with disabilities. To assist CAC, the TPO held an open and publicly advertised call-for-projects. The attached Program-of-Projects show the recommendations for funding.  Even though CAC now oversees the grant process with FTA, the TPO must still adopt the projects into the TIP. Because the TIP already has the Section 5310 funding approved, the new projects will be added to the TIP through internal modifications.
