FY 2026-2027 Transportation Planning Work Program Amendment – Knox-Blount Greenway Connectivity Study

Knox County has requested planning funds to prepare a special Knox-Blount Greenway Connectivity and Mobility Study. The primary purpose of the planning study will be to identify potential options and alignments to connect a 0.5+mile gap in the greenway sections being constructed in conjunction with the Alcoa Highway widening project. Knox County has requested $85,000 of TPO Planning funds and will match with $15,000 local funds.
