FY 2026-2027 Transportation Planning Work Program Amendment – City of Oak Ridge Corridor Study: Tennessee and Central Avenues

Oak Ridge has requested planning funds to prepare a corridor study to bolster multimodal accessibility in the area surrounding historic Jackson Square and nearby potential redevelopment areas. There will be a focus on achieving a complete street design that accommodates all modes (pedestrians, bicyclists and motor vehicles) safely. Oak Ridge has requested $50,000 in TPO Complete Street funding, $42,500 in TPO Planning funds and will provide a match of $7,500 with local funds. The TPO has held both Complete Street and Planning funds in reserved for this type of request. Staff recommends approval.
